katyerave (CB) VODs: HQ Streams & Notes

Caught katyerave's stream on the 21st and managed to pull a clean capture before the bitrate dipped. The lighting setup was surprisingly consistent for a change, though the audio levels were a bit hot on the high end, so keep your gain staging in check if you're planning to re-encode this.

Caught this stream last night and the bitrate held up surprisingly well despite the fast motion during the show. I noticed a few frames dropped around the 15-minute mark due to some server-side congestion, but the overall encode is clean and artifact-free. Pro tip: if you are archiving these, bumping the CRF by 1 or 2 helps maintain the skin texture without bloating the file size too much.

Caught the tail end of katyerave's Halloween broadcast and managed to grab a clean stream capture. The lighting was surprisingly well-balanced given the festive setup, though I had to run a quick noise reduction pass on the shadow areas to keep the bitrate from choking during the more active moments. Definitely worth a watch for the costume choice alone.

Caught this stream from katyerave yesterday and the capture quality held up surprisingly well despite the fast-paced movement. The bitrate remains stable throughout, which is a nice change of pace from the usual stuttering I see in raw web-socket dumps.
